I am a seasoned multidisciplinary, hands-on creative director, live action director and vfx supervisor, with deep experience in building and leading creative teams in advertising, motion picture, broadcast, experiential and interactive.
I was a child actor, bartender, literary translator, writer, teacher, publisher of a socio-political newspaper, war guide for the Washington Post, visual effects supervisor, advertising creative director and live action director. Arguably, my greatest achievement is my series of After Effects tutorials which have been cracked and downloaded worldwide.
I have been written about in LA Times, Wired, Shoot, Animation Magazine, nominated for an Emmy, MTV music video award, was somehow awarded a cultural ambassador order from the president of Albania and some of my work is on permanent display at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
I collect paperback sci-fi and love exploring far places on motorcycles
In the almost nonexistent time between work and trying to raise my children to be astronauts (so I can live vicariously), I dabble in a slew of hobbies; from handcrafting leather luggage, to trying to finish my translation of Asimov’s Foundation or reimagining the blinker.
