MindOverEye was a project of love. I joined the company when there were only a handful of people. As creative director in a startup type environment i’ve had my hands in many pots.
From building the first rudimentary vfx and post pipeline, cutting reels, building the website, hiring key personnel from artists to design director and head of production, brand esthetics, exploring new market avenues and conceiving strategies for the future steps in the growth of the company. And in the following four years it grew indeed; from 5 members to over 100 strong - nominated for an Emmy, named agency of record for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) and amassed a healthy client list.
On the standard creative director tasks, i was in charge of writing treatments and conjuring concepts for client RFPs from small to large campaigns and constantly pitching new business, overseeing all creative work coming in and going out of MOE, visual effects supervision and live action directing.
MindOverEye is the multi-platfrom creative agency and production/post studio that lives at the heart of TEN: The Ethusiast Network. TEN boasts a combined 161.8 million reach in the male 18-34 age group through its enthusiast brands within the automotive and action/outdoor categories.
Here are two edits of the live action and vfx/post work done at MOE in 4 years.
